Villa Grove City Council looks to capture smoking fines
VILLA GROVE – With the state smoking ban for bars and restaurants approaching on Jan. 1, the Villa Grove City Council is looking into creating a city ordinance of its own to make sure any fine money collected for violations stays in the city coffers.
The council unanimously agreed to ask City Attorney Paul Hendren to draft a smoking ban ordinance.
