Family, friends recall fire victim

POTOMAC – The home of Paula and John Bruns was filled with family and friends Monday morning – some quiet, some teary-eyed as they thumbed through photographs of 16-year-old Savannah Lynn Bruns.

A fire early Sunday morning at 203 N. Vermilion St., Potomac, killed Miss Bruns as she was getting ready to go to church. She regularly attended Alvin Church of God with her boyfriend, Josh Hunt, 17.
