Family's gift put to quick use
OGDEN – Only two days after the Ogden Police Department's newest tool to curb drunk driving arrived in the mail in late December, an officer had already used it to help take an impaired driver off the streets.
That was great news for Jim and Barb Esworthy of rural Ogden, who lost their two daughters in an accident caused by a drunken driver 10 years ago, and whose Journey organization paid for the new $690 portable breath test machine.
