Water storage tank leak floods yards in Champaign

CHAMPAIGN – Water from an Illinois American Water Co. storage tank in the 1300 block of West Healey Street leaked this morning and flooded five yards, and at least one basement.

Dave Rosenbaum, 1308 W. Healey St., said he woke up at 6 a.m. today and within 15 minutes, "the whole street was involved."
