Mysterious fires in Ford County continue

MELVIN – Some Melvin residents are wondering if three fires within the last six months in this small Ford County village may be the work of an arsonist.

After a fire destroyed the historic childhood home of former Congressman Leslie Arends last Saturday, Village Board President Harold Forbes said he became more concerned that the fires must have been set.
