24-year-old arrested in Legion shootings
CHAMPAIGN – Police have arrested a Champaign man in connection with a Dec. 30 shooting at American Legion Post 559 that killed one man and injured two others.
Champaign police officers and U.S. Marshals arrested 24-year-old Charmell D. Brown, who listed an address in the 3200 block of West John Street, at about 6:15 p.m. Friday on charges of murder for the death of Tyronne L. Greer, 29, of Springfield.
