Church plans to develop site north of Bradley
CHAMPAIGN – Champaign Asphalt's plans to move its asphalt plant from North Oak Street could help pave the way for a new subdivision north of Bradley Avenue.
Bishop Lloyd Gwin, pastor of the Church of the Living God at 1109 N. Fourth St., C, said the church has acquired 38 acres east of the plant and north of Douglass Square. He said the church eventually hopes to develop a new worship center and housing on that land.
