Grant for repairs to Piatt courthouse considered
MONTICELLO – The Piatt County Board discussed applying for a grant to make improvements to the Piatt County Courthouse.
County courthouses designated historic by the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency are eligible for the grants, which can be used to upgrade the efficiency of indoor lighting systems. The grants are supposed to improve lighting at the courthouse and create less air pollution.
