Slain Urbana bicyclist's family appeals for help
SPRINGFIELD – The family of a bicyclist killed in an Urbana crash is calling on the state's new Distracted Drivers Task Force to help prevent similar tragedies.
"We can't legislate common sense, but we need a deterrent to selfish and reckless behavior," Gloria Wilhelm testified at the task force's first meeting on Wednesday.
