'We must awake from the dream, begin making it a reality'
DANVILLE – The Rev. John Rouse has a better idea than closing all government offices, some businesses and the schools as a memorial holiday for civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.
"Why not still have a holiday, but the children should be required to be in school all day and learn about Martin Luther King Jr. and his dream," Rouse said. "Maybe then, the dream might be more than a dream."
