Tuscola theater group's fee waived; show safety questioned
TUSCOLA – The city council voted 7-1 Monday to waive the fee for a local theater group to use the Tuscola Community Building, but officials voiced concern about the safety of the July production.
City Administrator Drew Hoel said organizers of Actors Rural Theatre Company are cooperative about working with the city, but he would like to see limitations to make sure plays are safe.
