Slain men were the best of friends

A close friend of two men murdered in Edgar County early this week called the pair hard-working, fun-loving and inseparable.

"They liked to have a good laugh," said Jason Jones, 32, a certified public accountant from Auburn who went to high school with Ryan Riddell and to college with Mark Prasse and Mr. Riddell. Both victims were in Jones' wedding in 1999.
