Man accused of having sex with teenager arrested
URBANA – A Champaign man accused of having sex with a teenage runaway is scheduled to be back in court with a lawyer Feb. 7.
Randy Cook, 43, who listed an address in the 1700 block of West John Street, Champaign, was arrested recently on a warrant issued Jan. 18 charging him with aggravated criminal sexual abuse. The charge accuses him of having sex on Aug. 31 with a 16-year-old runaway at the Econo Lodge, 914 W. Bloomington Road, C.
