Rosales wins spot on county board ballot
URBANA – The Champaign County Board could get its first Latino member come November, a candidate who says his party needs to reunify.
Giraldo Rosales, who was also the first Latino elected to the Champaign city council, narrowly defeated urban planning expert Pattsi Petrie, 728 to 664, for the Democratic position in District 6.
