Smoke detector helps save family from fire
URBANA – An Urbana family escaped a smoky fire early Thursday thanks to a smoke detector.
Urbana fire Division Chief Tony Foster said the fire at 2509 S. Combes Drive was reported at 2:30 a.m. Thursday. The house is owned and occupied by Jong and Grace Park and their 2< 1/4>-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son, he said.
