Autopsy confirms that Monticello fire remains were human
MONTICELLO – An autopsy Friday confirmed that remains found in a camping trailer that burned near Monticello were human.
Piatt County Chief Deputy Todd McCabe said this morning that the autopsy confirmed the remains were human, and DNA was extracted. The sample will be sent for analysis, he said.
