Former special agent for the Illinois State Police arrested
GIBSON CITY – A former special agent for Illinois State Police has been arrested following a standoff Wednesday morning at his apartment in Gibson City.
Bradley J. Cluver, 50, was taken into custody on felony charges of aggravated assault on a peace officer around 9:30 a.m. today, after police from several agencies spent about two hours trying to persuade him to leave his home.
