Ex-state trooper arrested after 2-hour standoff
GIBSON CITY – A former special agent for the Illinois State Police has been arrested and held on a $10,000 bond following a standoff Wednesday morning at his apartment in Gibson City.
Bradley J. Cluver, 50, was taken into custody on felony charges of aggravated assault on a peace officer around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday after police from several agencies spent about two hours trying to persuade him to give himself up.
