Group honors educator's commitment
DANVILLE – Gladys Davis hasn't changed much over her 30-some years as a teacher.
"She really gets into teaching and she hasn't wavered over time," said Dwight Lucas, CEO of the East Central Illinois Community Action Agency where Davis got her start. He also is executive director of Laura Lee Fellowship House, where she works part time and volunteers.
