Champaign woman starts garden from seeds
Antsy gardeners don't have to wait until spring to put their green thumbs (and fingers) to work.
Some gardeners, like Bette Hughes, get a jump on the gardening season by starting plants from seed. She's already got nine different varieties of tomatoes going in starter packs, along with peppers, kale, red cabbage, broccoli, herbs like parsley, and flowers. And there's more to come.
