Five injured in crash on Interstate 57
MATTOON – Five people from Mississippi were injured when the sport utility vehicle they were in crashed on Interstate 57 in the snow Friday afternoon.
The accident was one of about two dozen that Illinois State Police investigated between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Friday, according to Sgt. Bill Emery of the post at Pesotum.
