New parking deck bids sought
CHAMPAIGN – The city will seek new bids for a downtown parking garage after earlier bids came in $2 million over the projected cost.
The bidding will be expedited, with bids due March 7, in an effort to get the 600-space structure finished by early 2009, said Craig Rost, deputy city manager for development.
