Projects tied to Monticello model park OK'd
MONTICELLO – The Monticello City Council approved two construction projects to provide public access to a Horizon Hobby-owned model park.
W.E. Excavating Inc. got a contract to build a road for $110,000, and Rogers Trucking will be paid $38,870 to haul materials for the road. The city will not own or maintain the road, which will lead to Eli Field, a modeling park for remote control airplanes, cars and possibly boats.
