Soldier gets prison for stealing gear
URBANA – A Potomac man who admitted stealing a military scope as he was returning from Iraq was sentenced recently to a short federal prison sentence and home confinement.
U.S. Central District of Illinois Chief Judge Michael McCuskey on Friday sentenced Patrick S. Fitzsimmons, 39, to one month in prison and five months of home confinement.
