Dry-ice bomb incident nets arrest
CHAMPAIGN – A 15-year-old Central High School student was arrested after school Thursday for heinous battery.
The student took dry ice from his shop class, put it into a bottle with water and gave it to a 17-year-old student, telling that student to hold it. The bottle exploded in the hands of the 17-year-old, according to Champaign police reports.
