Danville council revisits cuts to fire protection items
DANVILLE – The city council on Tuesday will continue discussion on the city budget following a proposal late last month by Mayor Scott Eisenhauer to cut nine firefighter positions and close a fire station.
Eisenhauer proposed the cuts to make up for a projected $335,000 gap in the city's fiscal 2008-2009 general fund spending plan.
