Urbana council changes rule on nominations

URBANA – Alice Novak is more interested in historic preservation than most Urbana residents.

She teaches Urban Planning 420 at the University of Illinois, which deals with historic preservation planning. She's the longtime chairwoman of the Urbana Historic Preservation Commission.
