Weather hampers officials' response to bank robbery
ROYAL – A man made off with cash from a Royal bank late Tuesday morning as deputies struggled through nasty weather to get there.
Champaign County sheriff's Lt. Allen Jones said a man entered the First National Bank of Ogden, 102 N. Park, about 11:20 a.m. and demanded cash from a female teller. There were no customers in the bank, Jones said.
