Savoy board establishes policy on requests for information
SAVOY – The Savoy Village Board passed an ordinance 4-0 Wednesday to establish a policy for responding to requests for information through the Illinois Freedom of Information Act.
The policy is being set because of a request made by The News-Gazette through the Freedom of Information Act. The policy's purpose is to quicken the response time of such requests.
