Several arrested after weekend fights

CHAMPAIGN – Champaign police arrested two men early Saturday after a fight in west Champaign.

Officers saw two men and a woman struggling with an 18-year-old male victim in the 2600 block of West Springfield Avenue about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, according to a Champaign police report. One suspect ran from police and was carrying a pistol, the report said.
