Amber alert canceled after two young children found safe

URBANA – University of Illinois police cancelled an Amber Alert this morning after two young children reported as abducted were recovered safely.

Sgt. Skip Frost said the children were reported as having been missing from the Orchard Downs housing complex Sunday night, allegedly taken by their grandfather.
