Mahomet library board members sign off on bond process

MAHOMET – Plans for the new Mahomet Public Library are finally under way after the library trustees voted 4-0 Monday to seek bids for the sale of bonds.

Voters approved a proposal to issue $3.325 million in bonds for a new library on the Feb. 5 ballot.
