INDIANAPOLIS – Nothing has been easy for Illinois this season. A win against a depleted Penn State team in today's Big Ten tournament was no different.

Tenth-seeded Illinois outlasted seventh-seeded Penn State 64-63 on Chester Frazier's last-second basket at Conseco Fieldhouse today. Seniors Shaun Pruitt and Brian Randle combined for 27 points and 14 rebounds to ensure a quarterfinal matchup Friday against second-seeded Purdue (5:30, Big Ten Network).
