Danville board again votes not to buy bleachers

DANVILLE – The Danville School Board on Monday rescinded its recent decision not to buy a set of bleachers advertised on eBay for two of its athletic facilities.

But it once again stopped short of buying the bleachers, after a member of a community-based committee that's raising money for amenities at the new all-weather track said she thought the move would hurt future fundraising efforts.
