Improvement projects top Rantoul's new budget
RANTOUL – A new downtown park, better wastewater facilities, improved streets and storm water drainage and better airport runways are all part of the proposed Rantoul village budget unveiled this week.
The Rantoul Village Board will hold a public hearing on the budget at 6:10 p.m. on April 1 and will vote on the budget at 6:15 p.m. on April 8. Both meetings will be at the Rantoul Municipal Building, 333 S. Tanner St.
