Heritage board addresses cooperative sports program
HOMER – About 20 people turned out for the Heritage school board meeting, including four district coaches who asked the board to revisit the current cooperative sports program with the Shiloh school district.
According to comments from the coaches, the program has worked well for some sports, such as baseball, and not others, such as track. The concern is that a cooperative program means fewer students from each school are likely to participate.
