Tuscola to again pursue pedestrian bridge
TUSCOLA – Residents may get another chance to see a pedestrian bridge built on Tuscola's northeast side.
City Administrator Drew Hoel told the city council Monday that he's resubmitting an application to the Illinois Department of Transportation to build another bridge at the intersection of Prairie Street and North Line Road. The deadline for applications is May 5, he said, which doesn't give the city time to come up with a new project.
