Board reconsiders, grants assessor some budget relief
DANVILLE – Several private citizens spoke out at a Danville Township Board of Trustees meeting Thursday morning in support of the township assessor, whose budget was targeted for a $29,000 cut.
Danville Township Assessor Bill Kizer said slashing his proposed budget by that amount would force him to lay off some of his staff.
