Teen defendant testifies in park arrest trial
URBANA – Brian Chesley told a jury hearing his resisting and obstructing a peace officer trial that he didn't stop when ordered to by a police officer because he had done nothing wrong.
The all-white Champaign County jury was expected to decide today if the black teen's reasoning is grounds to acquit him of the misdemeanor charges.
