Crash death ruled accident

DANVILLE – A Vermilion County coroner's jury on Friday ruled that the Jan. 2 death of a man, who was killed while eluding police, was accidental.

The ruling came after an inquest into the death of Alexis Torres, 22, of Danville. Mr. Torres died after he crashed his Ford van on Jackson Street into front of Danville High School.
