Jobless rates down from January, up from 2007
February unemployment rates in East Central Illinois tended to be down slightly from January, but up from a year ago, the Illinois Department of Employment Security reported.
Champaign County's rate was 5.2 percent in February, down from 5.8 percent in January but up from 4.3 percent in February 2007.
