Police officer's status worries aldermen
DANVILLE – A member of the public and some aldermen voiced their concerns Tuesday night that a Danville police officer, who had been on administrative leave, is now back in uniform after an investigation into his actions during an off-duty incident.
Allen Dixon Jr., security manager at Danville Housing Authority, told the Danville City Council on Tuesday during a regular meeting that he didn't understand why the officer, who was not identified, is back on the street when he is under investigation.
