Monticello man identified as crash victim
The identity of a man killed in a single-vehicle crash in LeRoy on March 22 has been confirmed, according to McLean County Coroner Beth Kimmerling.
Kimmerling said the DNA comparisons confirmed the identity of Nicholas S. Reeves, 21, of Monticello as the person who died as a result of a crash in the 700 block of South Bicentennial Drive in LeRoy. The coroner said the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by the McLean County Sheriff's Department and the coroner's office.
