Man dies following wreck on White Street
CHAMPAIGN – A central Illinois man was killed, two women were injured and police were trying to locate a fourth person after a crash in the 800 block of West White Street in Champaign on Thursday.
Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup said William A. Brown, 28, was pronounced dead at 11:09 p.m. Thursday at Carle Foundation Hospital. The coroner, who said Mr. Brown died from injuries received in the crash, said he believed Mr. Brown was from Champaign, but police said based on information received so far, they think he was from Springfield.
