Autopsy: Man died of head injuries
CHAMPAIGN – Preliminary autopsy results showed traumatic head injuries caused the death of a Champaign man involved in a crash Thursday night in Champaign.
Champaign County Coroner Duane Northrup said that appears to be the cause of death for William A. Brown, 28, who was pronounced dead at 11:09 p.m. Thursday at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. The coroner said Mr. Brown had a state identification card that listed an address in Springfield, but he had been living in Champaign with family members.
