Meeting agenda to include Farmer City fairgrounds
FARMER CITY – The Farmer City-DeWitt County Fairgrounds are alive and well – for at least the next two years. But the intertwined fate of a park may be decided at tonight's special city council meeting.
To kick off this year's racing season, Farmer City Raceway gave out the state's largest dirt-late-model prize of $20,150 to the winner of the inaugural Illini 100 race April 5.
