Officials' salaries top Vermilion County Board agenda
DANVILLE – Two years ago, Vermilion County Board members struggled over whether to give a raise, and how much of a raise to give, to elected countywide officeholders.
The issue comes up again this week as the county's personnel committee must consider Tuesday night new salaries for the county offices that are up for election this November. Those offices are circuit clerk, recorder, coroner, auditor and county board chairman.
