House approves bill forcing landlords to give notice
SPRINGFIELD – Legislation that would require landlords to provide 48 hours' notice before entering a tenant's apartment or house has passed the Illinois House.
Sponsored by state Rep. Naomi Jakobsson, D-Urbana, House Bill 4352 was approved last week in a 113-2 vote, and now moves on to the Illinois Senate.
