Vermilion County panel favors 3 percent raises for four offices
DANVILLE – The Vermilion County Board's personnel committee agreed Tuesday night to give 3 percent annual raises to four countywide elected officeholders, but no salary increase to the county board chairman.
By a 4-2 vote, the committee approved a proposal that the countywide offices up for election this November – circuit clerk, recorder, coroner and auditor – receive 3 percent increases in their salaries for each year of their four-year terms.
