Group gives shelter residents a place to work out
CHAMPAIGN – A makeover project at the Center for Women in Transition will give homeless women a place to get fit as they put their lives back together.
A professional business fraternity at the University of Illinois, Alpha Kappa Psi, raised $1,650 from corporate sponsors to turn a basement storage room at the center's Forbes House into an exercise room.
